Animals who weren't rescued appear in the early 1970s shocker MAN FROM DEEP RIVER. I was considering seeing this 'guilty pleasure' (a movie we love to hate) anyway, and thought, 'what the hell'? I can never come up with activities for this group-- we've been to all the zoos and hardly anybody is volunteering any ideas to meet at. So people with strong stomachs are welcome to join me to watch the violent, gory movie MAN FROM DEEP RIVER-- the first of Italy's gory 'cannibal' genre. We could first meet at the nearby pizza restaurant (Uno), to drink beer and eat pepperoni-- a food item composed of more animals that were never rescued.

If anybody is up for a night of insanity, we could meet at the pizza place at around 7:00 P.M., and then wander drunkenly, to the nearby MadCap Theater at around 8:45 P.M. It's two ultra-violent movies for eight bucks: Quentin Tarantino's INGLORIOUS BASTARDS (9:00 P.M.) and MAN FROM DEEP RIVER (11:00 p.m.), the latter of which is guaranteed to offend.
